Northern Vinyl were very professional as well as approachable and always available when I needed to contact them. Their performances were absolutely fantastic and we had nothing but compliments from wedding guests of all ages. They played a varied, energetic set which had people of all ages up dancing for the whole night and literally shouting for more at the end! They're not just a great wedding band, they're just a great live band full stop and as a big music fan I'm just glad we found them.

We originally were not planning to have any live music at our wedding mainly down to budgets, then Richard saw Northern Vinyl at a friends wedding in Clitheroe. He came home and said 'we need to find money for them they are amazing'.I had a look on their website and listened to the sample tracks and knew they would be the right and for us. Something for everyone and exactly the type of music everyone we invited would like. Still aware of budget issues I called Declan to find out more and too my surprise the local Leeds band were very reasonable and completely affordable for our wedding. Northern Vinyl were brilliant in the planning stages of the wedding, easily contactable when needed and were at the wedding in plenty of time to set up. There were no interuptions to the day whilst they set up and eventually when the band got going the place errupted. All the guests, young and old, commented on how great they were and they certainly had our guests on their feet. Northern Vinyl contributed to a brilliant day and one we'll never forget, I have no problem recommending them for future weddings or events and we can't wait to see them again live.

Northern Vinyl were incredible and really made our night special. Prior to our wedding the band were in touch to talk to us about our requirements and were very accommodating, even agreeing to learn 2 new songs, which they performed amazingly. We opted for the Dj option too and were very happy with the selection and range of songs. The band created such a fantastic atmosphere and many of our guests commented on how good they were, the dance floor was full all night. Northern Vinyl were absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend them to everybody.

Northern Vinyl provided a great soundtrack to the evening, they pitched the volume perfectly and each song was delivered like it was their last. The band had a great rapport with the audience including the dancing toddlers at the front, and we'd happily get divorced and married again so they could do the second wedding.
I had researched the band online and read some reviews so I was fairly happy that they would fit the bill but they not only fit the bill but topped it.
From their prompt, smart and friendly arrival to the end of their second encore they entertained all. It was already a great day but they managed to make it better. Their musical and vocal abilities were outstanding and they even got me on my feet.
We asked at the start of the evening if they knew Hey Jude as the Bride is called Jude, but they did not know it.... they finished the evening with Hey Jude having spent time on the interlude learning it. It would have pleased even Paul McCartney- simply spot on!
I can unreservedly reccommend them to anyone who wants a first class band for their function. They made many friends that night.

Music has always been such an important part to both Mike and I's life and as soon as we started to organise our wedding we knew we wanted to have a live band for the evening reception. After weeks of searching on the internet, I stumbled over Northern Vinyl; from the information on their profile they immediately ticked all of the boxes. The variety of music offered by the band suited our diverse musical taste and we knew they would go down a storm with our friends and family, particularly their catalogue of "Manc" tunes for my new husband and his friends! The Northern Vinyl exceeded our expectations; they were professional, friendly and great craic with the wedding party!
